Chief Accountant

Job Purpose

Oversee the company’s financial accounting function, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, budgeting, and financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable functions.
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
• Manage external and internal audits.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital.
• Strengthen internal financial controls.
• Provide financial insights to management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 7 years accounting experience with 3 years in management.
