Tax & Compliance Accountant

Job Purpose

Ensure full compliance with tax regulations, statutory obligations, corporate governance standards, and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file all statutory tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with KRA and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage tax audits and assessments.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise management.
• Reconcile tax accounts and statutory deductions.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Develop compliance frameworks and controls.
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA(K), ACCA, or equivalent qualification.
• 4–6 years relevant experience in tax and compliance.
