Head of Logistics, Transport & Garage

Job Purpose
Provide strategic leadership and oversight of logistics, transportation, fleet management, and garage operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and reliable movement of goods and resources across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement logistics, transport, and fleet management strategies.
• Oversee transportation operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
• Manage fleet utilization, maintenance schedules, and vehicle performance.
• Supervise garage operations, repairs, servicing, and vehicle inspections.
• Monitor logistics costs and implement cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Develop and manage relationships with transport service providers and suppliers.
• Monitor fuel consumption and implement controls to improve efficiency.
• Prepare budgets, reports, and performance metrics for logistics and fleet operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop logistics, transport, and garage teams.
• Manage risk and ensure business continuity within transport and logistics operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Transport Management is an added advantage.
• 7–10 years’ relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
• Proven experience managing large fleets, transport operations, and garage functions.
